El clavo molido es una especia hecha de los botones florales secos del árbol de clavo, Syzygium aromaticum. Tiene un sabor cálido y picante, con notas dulces y aromáticas. Es ampliamente utilizado en la cocina y la medicina tradicional.
El clavo molido se utiliza en una variedad de platos salados y dulces, incluyendo currys, guisos, salsas, adobos, pasteles y galletas. También se puede agregar a bebidas calientes, como té, café y vino caliente, para darles sabor y aroma.
Almacenamiento

País de Origen
Los clavos son nativos de las islas Molucas de Indonesia y se cultivan en otras regiones tropicales del mundo, incluyendo Madagascar, Zanzíbar y Sri Lanka.
