La naranja cristalizada es una conserva dulce elaborada a partir de rodajas de naranja cocidas en un jarabe de azúcar hasta que adquieren una textura cristalina y un sabor dulce.
Se utiliza principalmente en repostería y confitería, como decoración en pasteles, tartas y galletas, o como ingrediente en postres y dulces. También se puede consumir como un bocadillo dulce por sí sola o combinada con otras frutas secas y frutos secos.
Almacenamiento
Debe almacenarse en un lugar fresco y seco, preferiblemente en un recipiente hermético para evitar que se endurezcan o se peguen. También se puede refrigerar para prolongar su vida útil.
