El cacahuate con cutícula es el fruto seco del arbusto de cacahuate, Arachis hypogaea, que conserva la fina capa de piel que lo recubre. Esta cutícula le otorga un sabor ligeramente más amargo y una textura más fibrosa en comparación con el cacahuate limpio.
Se puede consumir crudo como aperitivo o tostado para intensificar su sabor. También se utiliza en la preparación de algunos platos, como guisos, curries y salsas, donde aporta un sabor único y una textura adicional.
Almacenamiento
Debe almacenarse en un lugar fresco, seco y oscuro, preferiblemente en un recipiente hermético para protegerlo de la humedad y los insectos.
Se mantendrá fresco durante varios meses si se almacena adecuadamente.

Los cacahuetes son nativos de América del Sur y se cultivan en muchas partes del mundo, incluyendo Estados Unidos, China, India y África.
