Información del Producto
El clavo de olor es el capullo seco y sin abrir del árbol de clavo, Syzygium aromaticum. Tiene un sabor fuerte, cálido y ligeramente picante, con notas dulces y terrosas.
Se utiliza en una variedad de platos, desde curries y guisos hasta postres y bebidas calientes. Se puede moler y agregar a mezclas de especias, o se puede clavar entero en cebollas o frutas para aromatizar platos.
Almacenamiento
Deben almacenarse en un lugar fresco, seco y oscuro, preferiblemente en un recipiente hermético para protegerlos de la humedad y la luz.
Se mantendrán frescos durante varios meses si se almacenan adecuadamente.
País de Origen
Los clavos de olor son nativos de las islas Molucas de Indonesia y se cultivan en otras regiones tropicales, incluyendo India, Madagascar, Sri Lanka y Tanzania.
