Información del Producto
El comino entero son las semillas secas de la planta de comino, Cuminum cyminum. Tienen un color marrón oscuro y un sabor distintivo y terroso, con notas cítricas y ligeramente amargas.
Se utiliza en una variedad de platos, especialmente en la cocina india, mexicana y del Medio Oriente. Se puede tostar y moler para hacer polvo de comino, o se puede agregar entero a guisos, curries, arroces, salsas y adobos.
Almacenamiento
Deben almacenarse en un lugar fresco, seco y oscuro, preferiblemente en un recipiente hermético para protegerlas de la humedad y la luz.
Se mantendrán frescas durante varios meses si se almacenan adecuadamente.
País de Origen
El comino es nativo de la región del Mediterráneo y se cultiva en todo el mundo, incluyendo India, Turquía, Egipto y México.
